Focus:  Bisexualität: Mehr als eine PhaseBisexuality: more than just a phase

Bisexualität, eine vielfältige sexuelle Orientierung, steht oft im Schatten von Missverständnissen und Vorurteilen, sowohl in der breiten Gesellschaft als auch innerhalb der LGBT+-Community selbst.
In Kooperation mit dem Verein Bisexuell Schweiz setzen wir dieses Jahr einen Festivalfokus auf dieses Thema an. In einer Welt, die oft strikt in hetero- und homosexuellen Kategorien denkt, wollen wir einen Beitrag dazu leisten,
dass Bisexualität, aber auch Pansexualität, im Alltag sichtbarer und akzeptierter werden.

Dazu gehören eine Podiumsdiskussion «Breaking Bi – warum sind wir Bisexuelle noch heute so unsichtbar?», mit anschliessendem offenen Austausch für Interessierte sowie eine Auswahl aktueller Filme zum Thema. Diese sollen die narrative Vielfalt bereichern und einen Beitrag zur Sensibilisierung leisten.

Bisexuality, a diverse sexual orientation, is often overshadowed by misunderstandings and prejudices, both in society at large and within the LGBT+ community itself.
In cooperation with the Bisexuell Schweiz association, we are focussing this year's festival on this topic. In a world that often thinks strictly in terms of heterosexual and homosexual categories, we want to make a contribution,
that bisexuality, but also pansexuality, become more visible and accepted in everyday life.

This includes a panel discussion "Breaking Bi - why are we bisexuals still so invisible today?", followed by an open exchange for interested parties and a selection of current films on the topic. These are intended to enrich the narrative diversity and contribute to raising awareness.
